Dr Atanas Angelov
Dr Atanas Angelov diagnoses, treats and follows up patients with cardiovascular disease: valvular heart disease, ischaemic heart disease, arterial hypertension and heart failure. Dr Angelov performs echocardiography and Holter ECG monitoring and does not see children.

Biography
Dr Angelov currently works at a Cardiac Surgery Clinic, taking part in the diagnosis and follow-up of patients after heart surgery – conventional and minimally invasive operations, beating-heart surgery and surgery without a heart–lung machine (cardiopulmonary bypass).
While studying medicine, Dr Angelov worked as a nurse in Invasive Cardiology and volunteered at an outpatient cardiology practice (2016–2020).
Practises at the Filipopolis Medical Centre in Plovdiv.
